Successful trials with London ambulance service and North East Ambulance Service have proven that the rugged VB400 body-worn cameras provide greater transparency for staff and citizens to help de-escalate situations, leading to accelerated deployment of cameras to all trusts in England – three years before NHS Long Term Plan target. The safety base provided by the cameras allows paramedics to stay focused on making vital decisions and providing patient care.

The cameras are easily activated by the wearer, securely assigned to a frontline worker using their ID badge, and provide extended battery life that lasts beyond the shift with up to 12 hour recording. Ambulance trusts will deploy body-worn cameras with VideoManager evidence management software to seamlessly download and manage recorded video as part of their workflow.
